Ashram Vision and Integrated Spiritual Concept

Proposed by: Prakash Bolakhe ‘Aananda Kausikananda’

Global Spiritual Community (GSC) envisions an integrated spiritual ashram that brings together Vedic traditions, meditation, nature-based living, herbal gardens, natural dyes, eco-printing, and sustainable textiles.

Our vision goes beyond worship and meditation. We aim to create a living community where spirituality, nature, agriculture, herbal living, and sustainable craftsmanship come together as one way of life. Learn more about the founder on his online profile.

1. Major Components of the Ashram

Shiva Panchayan Temple

A sacred space for the worship of Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu, Lord Surya, Goddess Durga, and Lord Ganesha. The temple will follow the traditional Shiva Puja procedure and Siva Puja Vidhi to preserve authentic Vedic practices.

Havan Kund and Yajna Shala

A dedicated space for Vedic fire rituals, yajna, mantra chanting, and world peace prayers.

Meditation Centre

A peaceful environment for yoga, pranayama, chakra meditation, silence, self-awareness, and spiritual awakening. The center will include practices such as Chakra Sound Meditation and Singing Bowl Ceremony.

Five Sacred Herbal Gardens

Dedicated gardens featuring flowers, fruits, leaves, and suitable plants associated with the worship of the five deities.

Herbal Tea Centre

Development of herbal beverages using suitable plants cultivated in our gardens.

Eco Print and Natural Dye Centre

Exploration of botanical printing and natural dyes using flowers, leaves, fruit peels, tree bark, and other suitable plant materials.

Spiritual Textile Centre

Promotion of natural fibers, handmade textiles, traditional craftsmanship, and environmentally conscious fashion.

2. Five Sacred Gardens Inspired by Shiva Panchayan Puja

The garden concept will be inspired by the five deities worshipped in Shiva Panchayan Puja. Each garden will prioritize flowers, fruits, leaves, and plants traditionally associated with the respective deity, while considering local climate, soil, and biodiversity.

Shiva Garden

Bilva leaves, dhatura, and other locally suitable plants associated with Shiva worship.

Vishnu Garden

Tulsi and other suitable plants traditionally associated with Vaishnava worship.

Surya Garden

Flowers, fruits, and plants associated with Surya worship.

Durga Devi Garden

Marigolds, red flowers, and other suitable plants are traditionally used in Devi worship.

Ganesha Garden

Durva grass, flowers, and other plants traditionally associated with Lord Ganesha.

These gardens will support worship, biodiversity conservation, educational activities, and the responsible use of botanical resources.

3. Five Herbal Tea Concepts

Each garden will inspire a distinct herbal tea concept, connecting spiritual identity with nature-based living.

  • Shiva Herbal Tea
  • Vishnu Herbal Tea
  • Surya Herbal Tea
  • Devi Herbal Tea
  • Ganesh Herbal Tea

Only correctly identified plants suitable for food and beverage use will be selected. Each blend will be developed with appropriate attention to safety, preparation methods, and ingredient quality. The goal is to create distinctive herbal products inspired by Nepal’s natural heritage and spiritual traditions.

4. Five Sacred Eco Print Collections

GSC will explore botanical printing on natural fabrics, using leaves, flowers, and other suitable plant materials to create unique textile designs.

  • Shiva Eco Print
  • Vishnu Eco Print
  • Surya Eco Print
  • Durga Eco Print
  • Ganesh Eco Print

Each collection will reflect the character of its associated garden through botanical patterns, natural colors, symbolic motifs, and creative textile designs. This initiative will connect spiritual inspiration with sustainable fashion and traditional craftsmanship.

5. Five Natural Dye Collections

The ashram will explore natural dye extraction using suitable botanical materials, including flowers, leaves, fruit peels, tree bark, branches, and other plant-based resources.

  • Shiva Natural Dye
  • Vishnu Natural Dye
  • Surya Natural Dye
  • Durga Natural Dye
  • Ganesh Natural Dye

Where practical, flowers offered during worship will be collected and responsibly reused for natural dyeing and eco-printing. Each dye will be evaluated for its color potential, colorfastness, material compatibility, and environmental impact. The initiative will promote the responsible use of natural resources and the reduction of textile waste.

6. Our Integrated Vision

GSC aims to connect five key areas:

Spirituality to Nature to Herbal Living to Sustainable Textiles to Sustainable Livelihoods

Through this integrated approach, the ashram will be developed as more than a place of worship. It will aspire to become a center for:

  • Spiritual practice, yoga, and meditation
  • Sacred gardens and nature-based learning
  • Herbal product development and responsible cultivation
  • Natural dyes, eco-printing, and sustainable textile innovation
  • Traditional skills, education, and community participation
  • Spiritual tourism, cultural exchange, and sustainable livelihoods

This vision also supports mindful travel experiences. Visitors interested in cultural exploration can explore curated sightseeing tours and plan their journey through our trusted partner for tours and travel in Nepal.

Our long-term vision is to demonstrate how spiritual values can inspire environmental responsibility, creative enterprise, and conscious living.

7. Invitation to Spiritual Members and Collaborators

Global Spiritual Community warmly invites spiritual practitioners, devotees, meditation and yoga enthusiasts, natural farmers, textile artisans, researchers, environmentalists, and conscious living advocates to join this initiative.

We welcome individuals and organizations who wish to contribute their knowledge, skills, time, resources, or collaborative ideas to help develop this vision. See who we are associated with and how you can be part of our growing network.

Together, we aspire to create an ashram where worship becomes spiritual practice, nature becomes our teacher, service becomes our way of life, and creativity becomes a contribution to humanity and the Earth.

Let us connect spirituality with nature.

Let us preserve our natural heritage, encourage conscious living, and create a more sustainable future for the next generation.
